DESCRIPTION:https://elyc.org.uk/event-425487\n\nLearn to sail weeks are aimed at complete beginners and will work towards Stage 1 & 2 certificates.\n   \n  You should be confident in the water and able to swim 50m in light clothing.\n   \n  We will not take anyone under 10 years on the Learn to Sail courses.\n  There is a maximum of 12 participants on these courses.\n  Participants should be confident in the water and be able to swim 50m in light clothing.\n  ELYC holiday programmes are run by a professional team with some voluntary help\, and look to provide a basic understanding of sailing\, and where possible award certificates.\n   \n  It should be noted that this is not always possible as the weather can provide some challenging conditions. Certificates are awarded through the RYA scheme\, and only awarded when skills can be shown at the correct level.
