Cadet Regatta 15th and 16th September 2012
This event has unfortunately been cancelled due to the adverse weather forecast. Entry fees will be refunded.
The cadet Regatta will run on the weekend of 15/16 September, and as always will be a fun event! The racing is short and sharp, giving everyone a chance to win, with lots of prizes available.
You can sail your own boat or a club boat (but to book a club boat you must email training@elyc.org.uk separately from booking on here to ensure you are not disappointed - The training officer will confirm if there are still boats available by email). The club are trying to borrow some extra boats for the weekend, but still it is likely that demand will outstretch resources!
We can only accept cadets that have already passed their Stage 1 & 2, (you will need to have passed your 3 & 4 to use a club double hander) on the regatta, so please do not enter if you do not qualify.
There will be coaching on the water during the event, so you can perform as well as possible.
The cost of the cadet Regatta is £5 for a singlehander and £10 for a doublehander, which includes a light snack and water.

Registration is at 09:30 and racing starts at 10:30 on both days.
Racing will finish around 13:00 Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, food can be bought from the Sail Loft Cafe. On Sunday a light meal will be provided at 14:00 in the Sail Loft Cafe, followed by Prize Giving.
