East Lothian Yacht Club is one of the premier sailing clubs in Scotland, with a magnificent expanse of water from the sandy beaches and harbour to the Bass Rock and the North Sea beyond.

The club is a recognised RYA training establishment running training courses, club dinghy racing, keelboat racing, and a variety of open events. There is also a full social programme.

The club has an excellent reputation for hosting national championships.
In recent years the following classes have held their championships at North Berwick: Contender, Enterprise, International 14, Laser2000, RS200, RS400, Solo, Topper.
