ELYC has a fantastic location for running and hosting racing from club level to National Championships. ELYC has succesfully run regattas for more than 200 boats, one of the few facilities in Scotland to be able to achieve this.

The club has an excellent reputation for hosting major UK and Scottish Championships.

In recent years the following classes have come to North Berwick for their UK championships: Contender, Enterprise, International 14, Laser2000, Musto Skiff, RS200, RS400, Solo, Tasar, Topper.
