As agreed with Alastair and the new committee I am happy to co-ordinate the men's curry night one last time. Those of you who have attended over the years will appreciate the high standard of food, drink and company. Those who have not, and come along, have treat in store! Here's the deal; 1. The evening starts at 19.30 for 20.00 on 22nd of March 2. You let me know you are coming by email or phone, advising numbers that will attend and if possible offering to provide an "Indian dish" (Asian not Red!) for 6-8 persons. 3. The male in the party provides the dish agreed with me on Saturday 22nd afternoon; delivered to the club between 2 and 5 for heating, or brings it hot at 19.30. 4. Each person attending pays £5.00 and may claim back any expenses incurred. 5. Numbers are limited to 60 so I need to know by 14th March at the latest and may have to close the list before that! I put together a list of the contributions coming to ensure we have enough variety of meat, veg and fish dishes, nans, poppadoms, pakora ,paratha etc. I will also cook the basmati rice. As you will gather this takes a lot of effort so some volunteers to help would be appreciated.
