From: "webmaster David" To: Subject: [Memberslist] Fun Racing Date: 18 August 2008 18:56 Dear Member, Just to let everyone know that Fun Racing is scheduled to start again this Thursday the 21st. For those who are unsure what Fun Racing involves it is a opportunity to learn more about starting racing or taking it a bit further. There will be activities which will help to learn about the rules of racing, starting and how to make your boat go fast! There will also be a short series of races which will put all your new found skills to practise! It is ideal for those who come along to Fun Fridays, who completed their level 3/4 at the summer school and it would be great to see those who came along in the spring there as well. Also, for those who want to do the Volvo Training on the 30/31st August and want to get a bit of practise in before hand it would be good for you too. Fun Racing will continue on through August and into September every alternate Tuesday/Thursday. We will aim to have a briefing at 6:15 on Thursday to have a chat about what we want to do and sort out boats.
