Our summer race camp returns in 2019 after the success of last year. Open to adults and juniors, this is a great opportunity to get out on the water with the support of our coaches and instructors for a week!
The race camp is aimed at members who have some sailing experience from attending the Go Racing or Friday Sailing sessions the club runs. The camp will involve tips to make your boat go faster, getting to grips with how to start a race and tactics to get past your competition on the race course. If you enjoy the Go Racing sessions and then this is for you!
We strongly recommend that you have been attending our Go Racing evenings or Fun Fridays regularly before signing up for this week.
The exact content of this course will be dependent on the participants skill mix and weather. The course will aim to cover the Start Racing syllabus. For further information on the RYA syllabus, please see the RYA website.
