RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course
Registration is essential for this event
This two-day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to operate a power driven vessel. Available to members 16yrs and above. This course includes:
- Launching and Recovery
- Boat Handling
- Securing to Buoy
- Coming Alongside
- Man Overboard
- Handling at Planning Speed
- Anchoring
- Towing
- Weather and Tides
- Chart work
- Passage Planning
- IRPCS
Following successful completion of the course, the trainee will achieve an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate.
Important Information for Participants
1. Please bring suitable clothing and footwear for being afloat.
2. You must be a club member 16yrs or above to participate in this course, if you wish to become a member, please complete a membership application.
3. Please bring a passport sized photo.
