ELYC Volunteer Agreement (2026 - 2027)

• If you have previously completed the Volunteer Agreement you are not required to re-register this season

• If you are age 17+ and volunteer at events targeted at, or popular with under 18s in any capacity afloat or ashore (includes Topper Training, Race Squad, Go Racing, Fun Fridays and Social Sailing) please  complete the Volunteer Agreement.  

Please note that Topper Training and Race Squad, which are events targeted at under 18s, fall into the category of Regulated Work for which membership of the PVG Scheme is also required. Please contact cpo@elyc.org.uk  for further information.

• Other club members age 17+ are invited to opt into the Volunteer Agreement.  We encourage all members to opt in as the Safeguarding Policy contains valuable guidance which is relevant to us all, however it is not obligatory.

• RYA Instructors need not complete the Volunteer Agreement as separate recruitment procedures and Safeguarding Training apply
